My second visit to the International Islamic University ― my main host in Islamabad.

I stayed at the university guest house, behind the gorgeous Faisal Mosque overlooking the majestic green hills. Built on acres of land, I loved walking through the majestic buildings on the female campus, named after well-known Muslim women, and admiring the beautiful gardens and paintings. It was a pleasure, indeed, to visit this university ― like returning home.
My hosts from the English department were already friends, and I am grateful, in particular, to Dr. Munazza Yaqoob, Head of Critical Theory and Thinking,  Dr. Fauzia Janjua, Dr. Aroosa Kanwal, Ms. Sonia Irum, Ms. Salma Kalim, and Ms.Asma Mansoor and her colleagues. My driver, Mr Haneef, was wonderful, and took me everywhere, including a special dinner at a 1960s theme restaurant, called 1969, on my first night.
Over the couple of days of my visit, I had three workshops at the university ― one on my latest novel, Revolt, and the other two were Scriptwriting  and Techniques of Writing and Tips for Publishing.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with both the students and the staff. They were very interactive, lots of questions and lots of signing of books. I have new fans!
Thank you IIU for being such terrific hosts!
