It was a pleasure visiting this prestigious De La Salle University our 2nd host in the morning of Day 3. Like the University of Philippines they were fantastic hosts offering marvelous hospitality.

Preliminary morning session with readings from the work of famous Filopino authors  by hosts and all standing up to the national anthem of the Philippines.

Fantastic keynote speech by Philip McLaren “Grasping the indigenous Literary Nettle and Owning it”. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Philip as he discussed with open candour.

Readings  and book launches of “New Asia Now” And collection of stories in “Union”. Individual readings by APWT participants and I read a short extract from my 3rd novel “Revolt”.

Networking opportunities over dinner.
