I spent a lovely morning at the very famous writer’s centre, PCWC, named after the Western Australian writer Peter Cowan, grandson of Australia’s first female parliamentarian Edith Cowan. I read from Revolt, The Holy Woman, and Typhoon, enjoyed a Q&A with the audience, and signed books. The library is a fantastic place – the original writing space Peter Cowan used in his own home, and is now reinstated within the campus of Joondalup University, complete with his writing desk. I even left some of my books amongst his treasures.
