The British-Pakistani author Qaisra Shahraz will lead a workshop on writing, migration, and the condition of Muslim women in Pakistan and the West. Discussion will focus on issues such as the role of the author, narrative technique, translation, impact and current attitudes to Islam in the UK and Europe in the light of recent world events. The workshop will be particularly relevant to research students and staff specialising in literary and cultural studies and those having an interest in politics and religion.
