Last night’s visit to the Rathaus in Xanten was for a reading. The group of 50 adults and myself enjoyed a lively discussion about writing and literature, and many other topics including my life as a Muslim woman living in the West, the current challenges we all face, the notion of freedom of speech, and extremism. I also read from Typhoon, and it was just a fantastic evening all round!
